It seems Britain has a smile on its face with Summer 2018 seemingly the first real summer we’ve had for several years.
Slate grey skies and rusting barbecues have been the norm at this time of year in recent times, but now with this heat wave continuing the beaches are packed, the paddling pools are inflated and there’s barely an ice cream left in the fridge.
The Met Office are predicting too that the good weather is going to last. The temperatures will remain in the high 20s for the rest of this week, and incredibly the long-term weather forecast is looking good!
OK, the weathermen are notorious for their forecasts, but the rest of July looks like being a scorcher, which will no doubt have the statisticians analysing the mercury levels. August looks very promising – we can keep our fingers crossed.
